AGM 2021
Who? How? What? Where? When?
The NESA 2021 AGM will be held on Saturday 24 April, on the NESA Public Discord Server. The AGM will start at 13H00. Participants will be required to start joining the server 30 minutes prior to the meeting for membership verification.
Only NESA members will be allowed to vote on matters, non-members are welcome but will not have any voting rights.
How will documents be accepted?
All documents mentioned in the agenda will be made avaliable here. Once an agenda item is being discussed the document will be named for all to refer to. Once a document has been discussed the Chairperson will move to approve the document, at which time one voting member will move to accept and any other member will need to second the motion.
Should any person have an objection to the acceptance of the document then that objection will be handled first. Should the person who objected be satisfied with the answer then the motion to accept the document will continue. In the case where the person is still not in favour a vote will be held among members with voting rights.
How can I get the documents a week before the AGM?
Any NESA members interested in joining the meeting can request the documents via writing from NESA through the Contact Us page or directly. Any non-member will be privy to the documents on the day of the AGM.
How long will the AGM be?
NESA aims to conduct the meeting in roughly 1 hour. The exact time is not known as the Executive Committee does not know how many queries/matters might be raised per topic.
The general idea is to start verifying members from 12H30 to 13H00 at which point the AGM will start.
